I live outside of Florida. How can we work together?
One of the benefits of Life Coaching is that it eliminates geographical boundaries,
offering convenience and flexibility. I've had the opportunity to work with
many clients across the U.S. and we work effectively via the telephone, fax,
e-mail and the Internet.
We can schedule the meetings during the day or evening to accommodate different
time zones. Oftentimes, clients travel to Florida and we arrange face-to-face
meetings during their visit.
Do you offer any warranties? What if I don't like your service?
My services aim at helping you find effective ways to deal with the issues
important to you in your life. I can guarantee you will be able to identify
the priority areas in your life, the roadblocks preventing you from living
the life you want, and the skills, the tools and the resources available to
you to effectively deal with these areas. You are free to find other alternatives
more suitable to your liking if you don't like my services.
Do I really need a life coach?
Whether or not you need a Life Coach is a decision only you can make. A Life
Coach is one more tool available to you in your toolbox, you decide if and
when you to use that tool.
Is Life Coaching Therapy?
No, coaching is not therapy nor is it mental health services, and clearly
is not a substitute for these services. If you require such services, please
contact a local mental health agency or hospital. Life Coaching focuses on
your here and your now; together we will work to devise an action plan for
you to move forward into your future.
Isn't it better to see a Physiologist for my issues?
A Life Coach is one more alternative for your benefit, as would be any other
professional you may want, or may need to consult to address your life concerns
appropriately.
What are your qualifications for this?
I am a Certified Professional Coach; objectively, this qualifies me to offer
my coaching services to you. Additionally, I have training as an attorney
and I have ample experience working with people throughout my career, bringing
them practical, applicable solutions to the issues of concern in their lives.
What is your experience doing this?
For many years now I've been doing life coaching for the benefit of friends,
co-workers, family and acquaintances. These experiences lead me to my professional
certification and my current practice.
How will Life Coaching help me?
Life Coaching helps identify and tackle the areas of priority in your life
and the roadblocks in those areas that have prevented you from living the
life you want for yourself. Though a tailored action plan, you and your Life
Coach together will work to overcome those roadblocks, freeing you to live
your life as you envisioned. Remember, you are the Protagonist in your own
life experience; all changes are directly correlated to the effort you are
willing to put in. Life coaching will help you understand that you are in
a unique position to create as much movement in your life as you want. With
Life Coaching, you call the shots; you decide how much you want to do. Your
progress depends on your drive and your commitment to the life you want for
yourself.
How many Life Coaching sessions will I need before I notice changes?
If you put in the work, you will begin to see results starting with your
first session. You decide how many sessions you want in order to achieve your
own personal goals. In my experience, people benefit more from ongoing sessions,
because it takes time to unlearn old ways and to incorporate new behavioral
patterns into your life routines. I recommend starting with one session a
week, for at least eight weeks to familiarized yourself with, and incorporate
your new approaches into your daily routine. On your own, you will come to
understand your own readiness. Remember, change happens over time as you practice
new ways of doing things.
What is Career Coaching?
Career Coaching is an interactive, dynamic and collaborative process that
take place between you and your Life Coach, with the goal of helping you explore
and identify where you are, clarify where you want to go, and put together
a plan to help you reach your professional goals. It can be for individuals
in transition, for those needing help with the job search or for people dissatisfied
with their current role.
How does Career Coaching work?
Career Coaching covers the professional aspect of your Life Coaching; it
tends to be short term and goal focused. We work together in a variety of
formats such as face-to-face, telephone coaching, Internet or via e-mail.
We schedule calls in advance; these sessions keep the momentum going and provide
the structure to keep the process moving forward. I'll provide guidance when
you need it to help you stay focus.
